and Maintenance for your new Magnetic Signs
Your new magnetic sign should provide years of use provided you
take care of it. Below are some helpful fitting, storage and cleaning
instructions to help you.
Fitting:
• Ensure the reverse side of the magnetic sign
and your vehicle are clean, dry and free from any dirt or grit
before attaching. It is a good idea to wax and polish the area
that your magnetic sign will be positioned. Once on the vehicle,
make sure the magnetic sits flat with no bumps that will allow
air to flow between it and the vehicle. If your magnetic sign
is placed in the wrong position, completely remove it and realign
- DO NOT slide it against the vehicle to straighten it as this
will cause scratching to the paint.
• Do not apply the magnetic sign over sharp creases or
mouldings.
Storage:
• The best way to store your magnetic sign is FLAT.
• When storing, it is best to keep at room temperature
as this keeps the material supple which will make it sit flatter
when re-fitted to your vehicle.
Cleaning:
• Clean your banner with a NON-ABRASIVE cleaner. We recommend
a gentle wash with a sponge or soft towel using warm water. (Water
won't hurt, magnetic signs are waterproof).
• CHEMICAL CLEANING PRODUCTS SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
