Signage maintenance tips:

  • Take action to keep your signs up-to-date. Check the information on your signs regularly to determine if the messages are current and relevant.
  • Check the location of your signs regularly, particularly if the layout of your premises has changed. Reposition your signs as required.
  • Check for any obstructions that may reduce the visibility of your signs, eg tree branches or bushes that may be overgrown and need a trim.
  • A clean sign is a visible sign. Carefully clean any dirt or debris that may reduce the visibility of your sign so that it can be bright and shiny again.
  • Always engage the professional advice from a qualified safety consultant to make sure your workplace signs and products are legible and compliant.
