Whether you want simple black vinyl cut lettering or a full-colour printed logo decal, either option is a great way to create a professional look and identify your signs on site. Yes, we understand that site rules, hazards and mandatory PPE requirements to keep your site safe vary from one site to the next. A custom site-specific sign is the best way to get your important safety messages and relevant information displayed on-site.

In addition to sign wording and design, we also offer the following customisation options:

• Branding – We can add your company name or logo to your construction site signs for a professional look.
• Shape – Signs can be cut into various shapes, including circle, square, rectangle, diamond, fingerboard and custom.
• Size – Up to a maximum of 1200x2400mm. Any sign larger than this will be made from multiple pieces. The most common sizes are 300x225mm, 450x300mm, 600x450mm and 900x600mm.
• Colour – We use the standard safety sign colours (red, yellow, green, blue and black on white), or we can use your corporate branding colours when you supply the Pantone numbers or the CMYK values.
• Sign bracing – This adds extra rigidity, support and strength to your post-mounted solid aluminium signs. Recommended for larger signs or any sign installed in windy areas.
• Anti-graffiti film – Anti-graffiti film is designed to protect the underlying surface from being damaged by graffiti and vandalism. Common on signs installed on perimeter fences.
• Reflective background – We offer an optional class 1 reflective background on our signs. A reflective sign becomes visible to a driver at night or in the dark when their vehicle headlights are directed at the sign. Ask us for more information on reflective sign materials.

Our construction signs are made from the following materials:

• Safety signs are available in the following materials:
  • Solid 1.6mm aluminium – Recommended option for strength and durability. Solid aluminium is also recyclable.
  • 3mm aluminium composite panel (ACP) – ACP is a cheaper option. It comprises a ‘sandwich panel’ made of thin aluminium skins and a polyethene core.
  • 6mm Corflute – Great, cost-effective material for short-term or temporary signs. Optional stainless steel eyelets are available with Corflute signs.
  • Stickers – Peel and stick, printed or vinyl cut to any shape you need.
• Swings stand signs and boxed edge signs are made from the following materials:
  • Swing stand signs – Metal sign with class 1 reflective sign face. The frame is strong galvanised steel. The shorter frame is powder-coated yellow; the taller frame has a silver finish.
  • Boxed edge signs – Folded yellow steel with a class 1 reflective sign face. Bipod legs are galvanised and powder-coated yellow.
  • Magnetic signs – Used to create changeable signs on our swing stand signs and boxed edge signs (e.g. magnetic arrows can be swapped from left to right).

Our aluminium construction site signs and safety signs are supplied with corner holes (for wall mounting), centre holes (for post mounting) or without holes so that you can either glue them for installation or drill your own holes to suit.

If you order a post-mounted sign with bracing, we’ll attach the bracing to the back of your sign. If you order Corflute signs, we offer stainless steel corner eyelets for tie-down points. Let us know what you need.

• Swing stand signs – Ideal for short-term works at construction sites, building sites and driveways.
• Boxed edge signs – Signage for roadwork traffic control.
• Witches hats – Orange cones with a 2.5kg black base, 700mm tall with reflective tape.
• Cone bars ‘Tiger tails’ – Black extendable bar with yellow reflective stripes and rings on each end to sit over our cones or bollards.
• Bollards ‘T tops’ – Orange stem with a separate black base (5.5kg or 8kg base), 1150mm high with reflective tape.
• Stop slow batons – Used by approved traffic controllers to control traffic.
• Weighted bags – Heavy-duty orange sand-filled bags with carry handles (approx. 5-6kg) ideal for holding swing stands and boxed edge signs in place.
• Hi-vis vests – Fluoro safety vests in orange or yellow, available with or without reflective tape.

Yes, because of the unique properties of aluminium and vinyl, all of our construction site signs are weather and corrosion-resistant and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
