How do you paint Disabled Parking Stencils?

Step 1. Clean, measure and mark area for paint using appropriate PPE and safety measures.
Step 2. Place stencil and mask around the outer square with tape, lift off stencil and paint the blue square then allow it to dry.
Step 3. Place the stencil over the painted blue box and paint the wheelchair symbol in white and allow it to dry.
Step 4. Lift off the stencil and remove the masking tape.

  • Outer blue square is 1200x1200mm
  • Wheelchair symbol is 900mm wide x 985mm high
  • Size per AS/NZS2890.6:2022
  • Long lasting, reusable and durable 1.4mm polypropylene
  • Flexible material can contour on slightly curved or uneven surfaces
  • Used by professional painters and line markers

Tip: Clean after each use and always store flat.

Painting Tip: Always seek advice from a paint shop regarding the best suited paint for your surface. Always use a non slip paint in areas which may be slippery.

Disabled Parking Stencil

Disabled parking stencils are used for marking and painting of designated mobility and disability parking bays with the blue and white wheelchair template which is also known as the ISA or International Symbol of Access. The size of our stencil and wheelchair template is in accordance with Australian Standard AS2890.6:2022 which specifies the minimum requirements for the provision of off-street parking facilities for people with disabilities. Disabled parking stencils are used for various stenciling, linemarking and painting of: disabled car park bays, accessible areas, wheelchair ramps or disability access spots. We can also make custom wheelchair outlines and stencil templates in different sizes for other accessible applications, let us know your requirements in the notes.
