TD1 Brackets are used to securely install flat signs to round posts with a 60mm outer diameter (OD). These brackets are designed for single sided installations. For back to back sign installations see our TD2 Brackets.
How to install TD1 Sign Brackets
Place the TD1 Brackets around the post. Insert the bolt with washer through the sign holes and tighten into the bracket thread. The tightened conical bolt tip forces into the post which grabs to hold the sign in place.
Most signs will require two brackets, one at the top of the sign and one at the bottom of the sign. Some taller signs will require more than two brackets, in this case we will add the required quantity to your quote.
Use Anti-Vandal Bolts (optional) in areas where signs are likely to be stolen, removed or vandalised. The special Anti-Vandal Bolts require a special tool for removal and replacement. This option minimises theft or vandalism. Contact us for more information.
Sign Posts sold separately.
Sign installation tips
Always wear high-visibility clothing and safety gear when installing signs near roads. Use proper tools and follow site specific safety protocols. Secure the area with cones or barriers to protect yourself and others. Stay alert to traffic and weather conditions at all times. If installing posts below ground, always complete sub-surface checks before digging.
