Baseplated Flange for Sign Posts

Baseplates for sign posts are simply bolted to the surface and the post is inserted and locked in. A locking wedge is included for temporary applications. For long term installations the post should be fixed to the baseplate using an alternate method such as professional welding or high tensile nuts and bolts (not included).

Notes & Tips

Not suited for installing on asphalt surfaces, always prepare a solid concrete base when installing on asphalt surfaces.

Recommended for temporary applications only. For long term installations we recommend that you weld the baseplate to the post.

Always have a professional underground and utility service locator carry out checks prior to drilling into concrete.

Always have your signs installed safely and correctly, and use a qualified and professional signage installer.

As part of your workplace health and safety inspections, your sign installation fixings and products (including sign posts and associated brackets, fixings, nuts & bolts/screws etc) should be regularly checked and maintained on an ongoing basis so that they are kept in a safe working condition at all times.

Baseplates are designed for installing our 60mm outside diameter sign posts onto solid concrete surfaces where core drilling is not an option. The baseplate and wedge are made from galvanised steel. The pipe flange is 200mm high and the base plate is 150x150mm.
